About Us

In hopes of continuing a family legacy beginning in 1952, our company’s founders immigrated to the United States in 1981 from Chang Hua, a small city located in central Taiwan. There, they settled down in the agriculturally rich state of Iowa and established Formosa Food Company.

Over the years, Formosa Food has continued to grow and now stands as a 3-generation-old, family-run business. With our packing house located only 4 miles from our processing center, we guarantee the freshest quality meat in every product while continuing to use the same recipes and techniques brought forth from generations before.
